Tiago and Koke reach 150 League matches with Atlético
The Portuguese and the player from the ranks added their 150th match with the red and white shirt in the League opener against UD Las Palmas at the Vicente Calderón. Jackson and Angel Correa debuted.
The start of the season at the Vicente Calderón served Tiago and Koke to reach the figure of 150 League matches with Atletico’s shirt. Both the Portuguese and the player from the ranks, starters against UD Las Palmas in Simeone’s first eleven, have become pillars of the midfield since they debuted with our team.
Tiago came to the banks of the Manzanares from Juventus in the winter market of the 2009-10 season, while Koke made his debut with the red and white at Camp Nou in September 2009 when he was just 17 years and 255 days old, being the seventh youngest player to debut with our club.
It was also a special day for Jackson Martínez and Ángel Correa, who made his debut at the Calderón. The Colombian striker was in Simeone’s first eleven and the Argentinisn substituted Óliver on minute 19 of the second half, being one of the team’s most outstanding player.
