Thomas leads Atlético to victory in Riazor

Atlético de Madrid got the win in Estadio Riazor, thanks to Thomas’ late goal.
Our first best chance of the match came in the first half. A great Antoine Griezmann pass to Ángel Correa came close to becoming the first goal of the evening, however Deportivo defended well and cleared the chance.
In the second half, Nico Gaitán came on and immediately had an impact. A couple of minutes later, Kevin Gameiro was introduced into the match. He later scored the first goal of the afternoon in Galicia, but the play was called off due to the Frenchman being offside.
