Atlético de Madrid will travel this Tuesday to Australia to play two friendly games against Tottenham Hotspur and Melbourne Victory. After beating Numancia 2-0 in their first friendly game, Simeone’s team will face a new stage of the pre-season in Australia.
The first friendly will be played this Friday at 20:00 local time (12:00 CET) against Tottenham Hotspur. This match is part of the International Champions Cup (ICC). The second game will be played on Sunday, 31st July, at 14:00 local time (6:00 CET).
For these two fixtures, Simeone takes 24 players to the Australian tour. The rest of the squad will stay in Madrid and will work at the Wanda Atlético de Madrid Training Complex to continue with the pre-season.
