The team will begin the pre-season on the 8th of July
Two friendlies will be played in Spain, before travelling to Asia to play in Tosu (Japan) and Shanghai (China).
Atlético de Madrid will begin to prepare the next season on Wednesday, the 8th of July, at Majadahonda’s Sports City. On Sunday, the 12th of July, the footballers will travel to Los Ángeles de San Rafael (Segovia) to carry out our usual pre-season preparation. The international players will be joining starting on that date.
After that, the red and whites will face two friendly matches in Spain. The first summer duel will be on Saturday, the 25th of July in Burgo de Osma, where the third edition of the Jesús Gil y Gil Memorial will be held against Soria’s Numancia. Three days later, on Tuesday, the 28th of July, they will visit the Nuevo Carlos Tartiere to face Real Oviedo.
Finally, the team will play a match in Japan and another in China. The first will be played on the 1st of August at the Best Amenity Stadium in Tosu (Japan) against Sagan Tosu, while the second match will be held at the Shanghai Stadium (China) on the 4th of August against SIPG Shanghai.
After returning from Asia, the team will continue with the trainings at Majadahonda’s Sports City.
