The team lands in San Francisco

A fifteen-hour flight, if we add the routes between Madrid-Los Angeles and Los Angeles-San Francisco, is what it took for the red and white expedition to arrive to the Californian city in the late afternoon, local time (early morning in Spain), from their Madrid departure in the mid-morning. Our team is already in the United States, the starting point of the seven-day tour the Atleti will make in the American continent on the occasion of the EuroAmerican Cup competition, as part of the second edition of the LFP World Challenge Tour.

This Saturday, the team will train at the Candlestick Park Stadium; setting of the first of the two friendlies they plan to play in America. The match against the San Jose Earthquakes of the Soccer Major League will be played this Sunday, July 27th at 4 pm local time (1 am on Monday, July 28th, on the peninsula).

Following that, the team will travel to Mexico City, where they’ll play against Club America at the Azteca Stadium, where the match will begin at 5 pm local time (12 am Pacific time) on Wednesday, July 30th.
