The ‘rojiblancos’ hold a regenerative session at the Sports Complex

Antonio López continued with rehab from his injury

Atlético de Madrid completed their penultimate training of the week with almost the entire squad available and continued to prepare for their match-up with Real Sociedad. It was a regenerative session in which the team was divided into several groups. In one area, several members including Joel, Raúl García, Filipe, Koke, Alberto Perea, Luis Perea, Borja and Juanfran , headed into the pine forest that surrounds the facilities in Majadahonda and did some running with head assistant Fran Escriba.

Another group stayed in the gym and remained there for the whole practice. Finally, several players stayed in the dressing room to have their muscular problems treated by the Club physical therapists.

For his part, the captain of the team, Antonio López, worked out with physical trainer/therapist Óscar Pitillas as he rehabilitates from the medial collateral ligament sprain in his right knee.
