Jan Oblak was one of the names of the pass to the Champions League quarter-finals. The Slovenian, who jumped to the field after Moyá’s injury on the 22nd minute, stopped one of the penalties by Bayer Leverkusen: "I'm not the main character. All of us who played are, and we deserved to pass," said Atlético’s goalkeeper.

For his part, Mario Suárez, author of the team’s goal, acknowledged that "What characterises us is that we are a team, a team with capital letters and we show it match-by-match. There are absences, there are injuries, there are changes and the team always responds. Today was another day and we have to recover well for Saturday."
