Raúl García and Guilherme Siqueira were the players who attended the media at the end of the match. Both assessed the final podium of the League very positively.
Atlético’s midfielder said at the end of the game against Granada that the team had conquered a direct pass to the Champions League in a season that "has been tough with all the changes that we’ve had but we have achieved the goal and people are probably happy. We have to assess what we have done. We knew that it was a match in which a tie could serve us but we went out with the intention of winning and control the game. Finally, the goal has been achieved."
Raúl García assessed the team’s season with a note of "almost top marks because we competed in all the competitions. We have been eliminated by great teams that have reached the end of the tournaments."
Guilherme Siqueira assessed the match against which was his former team: "It has been a nice game for me, different. It has been a unique feeling. I was eager to see the people again, the stadium and the former colleagues. I think that it has been a special evening for me because my team achieved the goal, which was the most important thing, and also very nice because Granada saved itself."
Lastly, the Brazilian assured that "it is not easy to compete against the best. Being third is something to celebrate because we fight against the best teams in the world."
