Elías was the only absence for the ‘rojiblancos’
Atlético de Madrid held a regenerative training session at the facilities in Majadahonda. It was a session that saw the return of Luis Amaranto Perea, after he had participated in the Colombia-Spain friendly match the night before. Almost all of the first team members were present, as only Elías missed out, as the Brazilian was returning from Paris after playing with his national squad in a friendly against France. For their part, De Gea and Filipe Luis did alternative work.
The rest of the first squad members were divided into three different groups. In one area, each group did aerobic capacity work at different intensities depending on the objectives of each one of the ‘rojiblanco’ first team players.
