Stumble at La Rosaleda
Atlético de Madrid played almost the entire second half with 10 due to Gabi’s red card, but even so, Kameni saved Málaga. In the end, Charles, with luck, scored the 1-0.

Atlético de Madrid returned to La Rosaleda, the stadium where almost four years ago Diego Pablo Simeone started his career as a red and white coach. And the team arrived as co-leader with the possibility of being the sole leader if it scored, but it could not be. We found a tough, difficult rival, which did not reflect its poor situation in the table and had luck at the end to score the 1-0.
The match was hard, without many clear chances. Oblak saved a shot by Charles at the beginning, while Carrasco was the one who tried on our side, first with a high shot and then with a free kick that Kameni stopped. In the final stretch, Oblak and Juanfran spoiled an opportunity by Charles.The second half had an unexpected development. Gabi’s double yellow left the team with 10 players for more than half an hour. However, our team almost scored couple of times, first with Griezmann, later with Fernando Torres. Kameni prevented the goal on both occasions. Oblak saved a shot from Cop but what he could not do was stop the one by Charles that, with luck, won the game for the home team.
