Lokomotiv Moscow coach Yuri Siomin spoke at the Wanda Metropolitano Auditorium on Wednesday about what it meant for his team to face Atleti.
“Players don’t always get to play one of Europe’s top sides, so we’re very motivated to face Atlético de Madrid. It’s also great for the supporters and we must support our players. Simeone always wants to win and encourages his team to do so. They’ll play as they always do, very aggressively,” Siomin said.
Midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak also spoke ahead of the match.
“We’ve had a rough last month when we haven’t played well, but we’re prepared for tomorrow’s game. We’ve worked hard to get here and we want to be 100% ready. It will be tough, but we want the three points,” the midfielder said.
