Simeone will receive the Ibero-American Community Trophy
The Spanish Sports Council thus recognises the extraordinary career of our coach.
Diego Pablo Simeone has been awarded the 2013 Ibero-American Community Trophy, awarded by the Spanish Sports Council (CSD) in recognition of his professional performance. The Argentinian coach will receive one of the National Sports Awards after the jury chaired by Ana Muñoz Merino, the General Sporting Director of the CSD, decided him to be the Ibero-American personality who was most outstanding during the year.
2013 was a year marked by successes for our coach, who, along with the team, achieved the King's Cup and to classify to compete in the UEFA Champions League, the best continental competition for Clubs.

The jury of the National Sports Awards is made up of different representatives from CSD, COE, Spanish Sports Federations, Autonomous Communities, local corporations, media and renowned athletes.
