Simeone: "We will not stop believing"
Our coach answered the media at the end of the second leg match of the last 16 of the Champions League match.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared in press conference after the pass to the quarter-final of the Champions League. The Argentinian coach said: "It makes me happy to finish the match with so many young kids such as Lucas, Giménez, Griezmann, Koke, Kranevitter and Saúl. Huge congratulations for the stadium. The start of the match was wonderful. The show from the stands was incredible. And we will not stop believing, that’s for sure."
In addition, our coach analysed the pass to the quarter-finals for the third consecutive year: "I assess it with great joy, that is why I celebrated Juanfran’s penalty as I did. There is a huge effort of all the players, medical staff, coaching staff and people who follow and support us daily. It’s a joy for us to be with Atlético de Madrid again in the quarter-finals."
