Diego Pablo Simeone was hopeful towards tomorrow’s fixture. The Argentinian sees his team well and emphasizes that to achieve the league title they need "to play a good game and take it to where it suits them." They will seek "to play with the gaps and have speed in the attack" to feel comfortable and be able to get a positive result.

Atletico’s coach said they’ll follow the same line they have until now. "We always keep the same identity. I don’t think this last game will change that" he said. For him, being in this privileged situation is due to "the work and effort" they have done. He doesn’t think it’s been easy, but they are where they are "on their own merits”.

We always maintain our identity. I don’t think this last game will change that.

Simeone expects a "complicated, hard and difficult" match against "the best Barcelona" of the season. He senses a long game, and does not believe "it will be resolved quickly". Therefore, the "mental" response of his men to Barça’s initial push will be essential.

In reference to Diego Costa’s state he declared, "he's okay" and that he’s entered "without any problems" so he’ll "be a starter player".
