Simeone: "We are happy to receive a lot of children tomorrow on the pitch"
The red and white trainer analysed the visit of the team from Elche to the Calderón coinciding with the celebration of Children's Day.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared at the press conference prior to the match that we will play against Elche at the Vicente Calderón (Sat/18:00). The Argentinian coach was happy by the presence of 10,000 children during the match on the occasion of the celebration of Children's Day: "We are happy to receive a lot of children tomorrow on the pitch. It is an important match because there are still six determining games in the League to reach the objectives of the Club. We are excited that things go well so we can keep growing as we have in recent years."
Simeone stressed the importance of winning the three points to reach the objective of securing the third place: "The objective of the Club is to finish third. We are competing in Europe extraordinarily well and I think that having had the negative result hurt us, but at the same time it teaches the rivals that they can not relax because they will have to reach minute 178 to win us and that speaks well of us. I'm proud of the team’s effort and consider that everything helps in our daily growth. We've changed 10 players this season and the team is competing in the same way."
