Simeone: “This Liverpool side will go down in history”
Our coach and Oblak previewed on Monday evening the upcoming Champions League clash against Liverpool.
Simeone spoke highly about Liverpool on Monday evening one day away from the first leg of the Champions League last 16.
“We’ll be up against a great team, really well coached. They play in different ways. Klopp has been creating his team in the years he’s been there. Both teams are intense and competitive. This Liverpool side will go down in history. I admire them. I know the stadium will be full tomorrow and the atmosphere will be electric. Our players can’t wait to play,” our coach said.
Oblak also praised our opponents.
“Liverpool have barely lost any games in the last year and are in great shape. They’re the favourites tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean we won’t try. Keeping a clean sheet would be positive. We want to do as well as possible and the result will follow,” the Slovenian said.
