Simeone: “The team is working very well”
Our coach, Llorente and Hermoso spoke after our 3-0 win in Orlando.
Simeone analysed our team’s win in the MLS All-Star Game.
“It was a hard-fought game, especially in the second half. I’m very happy with the way the whole team is working and with the new players. We worked well in Los Ángeles de San Rafael and we’ve worked well these last few days in the US,” our coach said.
Marcos Llorente was happy to have scored his first goal for Atleti.
“Rodrigo Riquelme provided an excellent assist and made things easy for me. I’m very happy to have scored. This was a different kind of game that we’ve enjoyed greatly and helps us to continue preparing ourselves,” the Spaniard said.
Mario Hermoso claimed the US pre-season tour had been very positive.
“The US tour has been very positive. The team is competing well and getting ready for what’s to come. We have to keep growing ahead of LaLiga, which is the most important thing,” our defender said.
