Simeone: "The great work of the club has been to maintain the structure of the team"
The Argentine coach analysed the great work of the preseason and is just thinking about the league start against Sevilla.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared at a press conference after the morning training. The coach was very satisfied with the work done so far in preseason: "We are working well, we’ve had a very important preseason. Now comes the important part and we’re going in to it with great enthusiasm and with the expectation that a team like Atletico Madrid should g in to a season."

"We will continue on the same line, with the regularity that has always characterised us, the most important thing right now is Seville, we’re thinking about the present. We can not get out of this way of thinking. Obviously we start with zero and will go game by game," said Simeone, knowing that it is vital to start the season with a win.
Simeone also spoke of the latest developments in the squad, such as incorporating Aranzubia: "He will bring that extra competitive for goalkeepers. Bono is also growing and we have high expectations for him. Dani will give us experience when necessary at the top".

And no doubt, the big news of the day is the renewal of Diego Costa until 2018: "I am very happy with the decision of Diego Costa, with its renewal. Its great work by the club in recent times has been to maintain the structure of team".
Finally, the coach stressed the virtues of the striker and plans for future success: "Costa has the place that he earned last year. Obviously football is lived day to day.
