Simeone: "The first half was very good"
Our coach answered the media in the press room. The Argentinian said he was happy for the football displayed in the first half of the match.
Diego Pablo Simeone appeared in the Riazor press room at the end of the match. Our coach analysed the point won in Galician lands: "The first half was very good, in the second half we didn’t attack at all and that provoked no compromised defensive situations because they had not generated chances to score, but it’s true that the team did not stop doing the things it did in the first half which it did very well and that is obviously the path we should follow, continue with this game that gives us chances to score, attack far away from our goal. We are keep in mind the first half to continue improving."
Lastly, the Argentinian was happy with the level of the team in the first half: "Whenever there is a goal for each side it’s right, because it’s what really happened. I'm leaving with a good feeling about the team, very good first half, in the second half we were too sheltered and we couldn’t get out, we didn’t combine or attack. We played 45 very good minutes today and a great match against Valencia."
