Simeone refines the plan ahead of the trip to Pamplona
Diego Pablo Simeone split the group into two for training on Thursday at the Sports City in a behind closed doors session in which Miranda did not work with the group.
In Thursday's session, the red and whites worked behind closed doors in two groups. Miranda missed the workout as he continues to work on the recovery of the ankle injury suffered on Sunday, so too did Tiago, who also continues his rehabilitation from a broken right ulna, and Cisma with permission for personal issues.
After the initial physical work, Atletico played a game with Atletico B on field 4 of the Sports City. For the first team played: Bono; Manquillo, Pulido, Godin, Insua, Thomas, Saul, Koke, Oliver, Cristian Rodriguez and Raul Garcia. On the Athletic B side: Asenjo; Pere, Caesar, Tiri, Elbis, Vicente, Cidoncha; Fran, Ndoye, Ivan, and Borja Galan.
Before the first group of Atletico played a match against Atletico Madrid Youth Honor Division, the group led by Roberto Fresnedoso.
