The squad displayed the image we're used to seeing today in Lima and Diego Pablo Simeone was pleased. "Coming here is always a hard game. The game was good and we showed remarkable intensity. The perseverance gave us the goal that we deserved," said the coach, happy with the result but especially with the attitude that his team showed throughout the game.
The work of the players who participated in the game was extraordinary and the 0-1 score did not reflect the actual domination. "The team is growing every day, we’ve improved since the other day and the players gave everything to get the result which is the most important," said Simeone. "We played very well and felt very comfortable on the field," he concluded.
