Atletico Madrid completed the last training before receiving Athletic Bilbao at the Vicente Calderon. The meeting lasted an hour and a half and was marked by the trial of the tactics used in the first match of the Cup. Upon completion of training, Diego Pablo Simeone named the 18-man squad list to face the Basque side. Tiago is still recovering from his muscular problems and Mario Suarez, who although he has returned to training with the group is not ready to play. Furthermore, Giménez, Sosa and Manquillo are not n the squad for technical reasons.

The team will meet on Thursday morning at the Hotel Montereal to rest and deal with the difficult clash against Athletic Bilbao.
