Simeone calls all available players
The absence of Cristian Rodríguez due to an injury is the only absence on the list provided by the coach at the end of the session.
One hour of work to finish off the week’s trainings before tackling the League derby this Saturday - at 20:00 - against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. That was how long Simeone had his staff on field 1 of Atlético’s Sports City before providing the squad list, a roster that is made up of 20 players that include all the available workforce of Atlético’s first team.
Cristian Rodríguez, injured in the left calf, is our team’s only absence. The rest of the players was concentrated in the Monte Real hotel until hours before the game.
