Simeone calls 19 players
After the afternoon session at the Vicente Calderón Stadium, Diego Pablo Simeone provided the list of players called for Friday’s fixture against Elche.
The team trained this Thursday’s evening at the Vicente Calderón Stadium, finalising the details before their match this Friday’s (20:30) against Elche. Diego Pablo Simeone could count on almost all of his players except Manquillo and Arda who worked apart from the team with the help of Óscar Pitillas, the fitness trainer.
For an hour and a half, the players prepared the strategy and the set piece to face the critical match against the team from Alicantethat comes to the Calderón 15th in the table with 35 points and four over the relegating.
The 19 convened players, the same called for last week’s fixture against Getafe, concentrated after the session ended to rest and face the duel, second before last League match at home, along with the Atlético fans.
