Save the Children logo will be on the back of our shirt in Europe
We are once again collaborating with Save the Children after we had already worn their logo on our shirt in the European Super Cup. In this way, we consolidate the club's and our Foundation's commitment to Save the Children, which works in more than 120 countries and saves the lives of the children, provides them support and security as well as defending their rights in accordance to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
On 18 September, we will face Monaco in our debut in the Champions League in the Stade Louis II. Because of our participation in this competition, Atlético de Madrid will collaborate with Save the Children, an organization for the rights of children. Save the Children's logo will be present on the back of the shirt we'll use during UEFA competitions.
It will not be the first time that Save The Children appears on the back of our shirt, as we wore Save the Children logo for the UEFA Super Cup on 15 August in Tallinn, Estonia, in which we beat Real Madrid (2-4).
Save the Children is the leading organization in the defense of the rights of children and infants in all the world. The organization works in more than 120 countries and saves the lives of the children, provides them support and security as well as defending their rights in accordance to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Save the Children has been working in Spain the past 20 years with programs for the most vulnerable children, centered on infants in risk of poverty or social exclusion. Through its programs in Spain, they help the children and their families, so the economical situation or social exclusion in which the children are living in doesn't impede in their rights.
