Saúl: "I will try to take advantage of this opportunity with lots of work and humility"

The national coach, Vicente Del Bosque, has made public the provisional list for the Euro 2016 in France in which he has included three of our players. Juanfran and Koke, who are regulars in the national team’s squad lists, we now add Saúl Ñíguez, who has been called for the first time for the senior national team.  

Our player from the ranks was very happy with the call, as he said in a statement for the club’s website. "I am very happy to have been included by Vicente Del Bosque in this list of 25 players. I will try it take full advantage, working with humility and contributing everything I can to the group," he said.

At such an important time in his career, Saúl wanted to remember all the people who have been close in his progress from the ranks to the first team. "I see it as a prize for the work done during these years and I only have words of gratitude for everyone who has helped me during this time, teammates and coaches who have taught me so much and, without their help, it would have been impossible to continue learning and for this opportunity to happen," he concluded.
