Quique Sánchez Flores calls up 19 players for the derby
Quique Sánchez Flores released the list of 19 players who will stay at Hotel AC La Finca on Saturday night to get ready for the match against Real Madrid. The big novelty is the presence of junior squad player Jorge Pulido, in addition to the recovered Reyes, who had to leave the match against Almería last Sunday at halftime due to injury. Perea is out through suspension and also out are injured players Asenjo, Borja and Godín, plus Juanito through coach’s decision.
The ‘rojiblanco’ squad held a closed door training session at the Majadahonda Sports Complex. They held an hour-and-a-quarter video session and spent another hour-and-a-quarter practicing on the pitch. Training with the first squad were Atlético B players Iván Benítez and Hermosa. De Gea did alternative work with Oscar Pitillas.
