José Mourinho released the list of 20 players called up for the first leg Copa del Rey quarterfinal match that his team will play on Thursday 13 January at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu against Atlético de Madrid. The big news is the inclusion of Arbeloa after sitting out a one-match suspension. The Portuguese manager will not be able to count on Higuaín, Pepe or Dudek due to injury. Canales and Diarrá have been dropped through coach’s decision.

DEFENDERS: Carvalho, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Arbeloa, Albiol and Garay.
MIDFIELDERS: Gago, Khedira, Lass, Granero, Alonso, Pedro León, Di María, Kaká and Özil.
STRIKERS: Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema.
