Our players wore shirts to support Augusto
The team went out onto the field with shirts in support of our player Augusto, injured last Sunday in the match against Deportivo.
The eleven players chosen by Simeone to begin the match against Valencia wore shirts to support Augusto. Our squad wanted to honour their teammate before the match. On the shirts, you could read a message of support for Augusto.
The Argentinian midfielder was injured in the last week of the League against Deportivo de La Coruña. Augusto suffered “a complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee.”
