Our new kit pays tribute to Madrid with a design based on the aerial map of the city where, in the centre of the shirt, appears Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo, the location of Fuente de Neptuno, where we celebrate our titles along with the fans.
Our official third kit for the 2018/19 season is here! Our new shirt is inspired by Madrid, as the base of the design is an aerial map of the city where Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo, the location of Fuente de Neptuno, is on the centre of the shirt.
In this way, we pay tribute to our city and our traditions, as Fuente de Neptuno has a very special meaning for all the Atléticos: there's where the team and the fans celebrate the titles together.
The kit combines two shades of blue, one darker and one lighter, and has, on the back of the neck of the shirt, a trident representing Neptuno. Another wink to Plaza Cánovas del Castillo, where we celebrate our triumphs.
