The draw against Villareal in Valencian lands will not be just any game for Diego Costa. The 'Panther from the Manzanares' reached the magic number of 100 games for Atletico Madrid. Recently called up by Vicente del Bosque to defend the national team in two friendlies against Guinea and South Africa that will serve the national team in preparation for the World Cup in Brazil 2014, the Spanish-Brazilian player is in top form and I the current top scorer in the group led by Diego Pablo Simeone.


The Atletico number 19 is in his third season in our club. In 2011/2013 he played on loan at Rayo Vallecano, in which Diego Costa has continued to evolve and improve in his game and in his contribution to the team.
