It's a stage for challenges and self-improvements at a personal and a professional level
The goalkeeper from the Balearic Islands considers he's starting a phase full of challenges, but he thinks he's prepared.“It's clear this stage is full of challenges, and self-improvements at a personal and a professional level”, he said. At the same time, he highlighted he comes to “Compete as any other player, right now Atlético has top players in every position”.
For Moyá, this is the best moment to sign with the red and white club. “What better moment than this one to arrive, the demands will be strong but when a football player is born, he wishes to be in a Club such as this one. Atlético de Madrid is one of Europe's greatest teams and has clearly demonstrated it”, he stressed.
Enrique Cerezo, the Club's President, welcomed Miguel Ángel Moyá and highlighted the player, “will have an immediate adaptation and integration with the team”. He also wanted to remind that, “Atlético de Madrid looks for players who are committed with the Club and the project they're carrying out”, and therefore “It's not easy to find players in the market with the profile, commitment and guarantees that Miguel Ángel offers”, he concluded.
