Miguel Angel Gil: "Thank you for a dream season"
The CEO thanked the Atleti family for the work, support and affection received by the club during this season that concludes with two more titles in the trophy cabinet of the Calderon.
After the season, here are a few lines to express my sincere thanks.
• Thanks to the employees of the club, with whom I share hours and hours every day, because I know what a season like this means to you. Thank you for your skill, commitment and enthusiasm.
• Thanks to sponsors and financial institutions, because without you it would have been almost impossible to maintain the level of current competition.
• Thanks to the Media, who understand and share our efforts to open up the club to everyone, to promote mutual communication and respect our decisions related to the club both as professionals. And above all, thank you for helping to spread the word of the club every day and every day we get a little bigger.
• Thanks to the players for making us all happy in what we feel in our hearts for this wonderful club.
• To those homegrown players who are committed, capable and excited to wear the shirt.
• And those who have come to work from outside, who have been identified with what this club is and are committed to giving the best of themselves and being a good professional.

It has been a season to remember with two titles won against major economic powers in world football: Chelsea and Real Madrid. Best defensive record in our league championship. Increased average attendance at the Calderon. Maximum respect between the club and the media and maximum involvement between the team and fans.
In short, a dream season. We must close our eyes tightly to dream together and become stronger than others. Because it's nice, because it's healthy because Atleti makes you stronger.
