Miguel Ángel Gil participates in 13th Dubai International Sports Conference
Our CEO was one of the speakers on the 'New Formats and Revenue Perspectives' conference. During his speech, he highlighted the main pillars of our club: "The Academy, the fans and a united first team."
Miguel Ángel Gil on Wednesday participated in the 13th edition of the Dubai International Sports Conference. Our CEO participated in a round table on 'New Formats and Revenue Perspectives' alongside FIFA Deputy Secretary General Zvonimir Boban and City Group CEO Ferrán Soriano. The moderator was Sport Business Group founder Kevin Roberts.
The Atleti CEO highlighted the importance that fans have in football.
"Football belongs to the fans and we have to find a formula so that they receive some sort of return from the money that's generated thanks to their love for their team," Miguel Ángel Gil said, while adding that the main pillars of our club or any other football organization are "the Academy, the fans and a united first team."
Our CEO said that the Atlético de Madrid road map is based on the club's values, which are instilled at our Academy from an early age.
