Mario Suarez : "The team responds to whoever play"

Mario Suarez is ready for Sunday and says he says the team is looking good after the victories against Real Madrid and Porto.

Mario Suarez is back from injury and is working with the group. When asked if he could join the team he said "I have trained with the group yesterday and today, the feelings are very good and I feel good. The aim was to recover well and if tomorrow the coach called me, I would be very happy and if not, to continue working towards the next game."

Over the two games he has had to watch the team from the sidelines he said "I have seen the team looking very good in these two games. We achieved two important victories against Real Madrid in La Liga and the Porto in the Champions League. The team has shown the same virtues as always, great security, great confidence and a way of playing that is contributing to us being where we are. The team responds whoever plays”.

Regarding the euphoria of the fans, Mario said that "it is normal that the fans are proud of how the team is playing, we are winning every game. We are co-leaders in the league and leading our Champions League group. It is normal that the fans have that euphoria but we will continue as usual, with the mentality of going game by game. It's very nice to be up there because it gratifies our work but this is very long season and it has just begun."

And finally, he commented on the second goal in Porto "I was watching the game with some friends and I said we were going to do the set piece because of how the players were set up. It's a set piece we’ve done before but this time it went well, we scored a goal which has given us an important victory thanks to a great work of many hours of coaching."
