The Russian club were founded on July 23, 1922 and have won 20 titles. The team's most successful period has been in the last 25 years. Since the start of the millennium, they've won 12 titles.

The RZD Stadium seats 28,000 fans and is one of the most emblematic stadiums in Russia. In 2007, we played in their stadium and the match ended 3-3. In the 2017/18 Europa League, we faced the Russian side in the Round of 16. Our team earned a big 8-1 win on aggregate, and we would go on to win the competition.

Yuri Semin has been in charge of Lokomotiv Moscow since 2016 and he played for the club during two seasons (1975-1977). Semin led Lokomotiv to Russian Cup glory last season.
