List of 19 players to play against Sporting
Simeone will not have José María Giménez available due to a muscle injury that was revealed by an MRI that the Uruguayan young player underwent after Friday’s training session.
Diego Pablo Simeone provided a list of 19 players called for this Sunday’s match – starting at 18:15 – and that will measure our team up against Sporting de Gijón at the Vicente Calderón stadium.
The called players are:
Goalkeepers: Moyá and Oblak.
Defenders: Godín, Filipe Luis, Savic, Jesús Gámez, Lucas and Juanfran.
Mifielders: Tiago, Koke, Óliver, Gabi, Saúl, Carrasco and Thomas.
Forwards: Griezmann, Fernando Torres, Jackson Martínez and Correa.
