League Champions!!!
Atlético de Madrid Ladies did their homework, beat Real Sociedad by 2-1, thanks to the goals by Esther and Amanda, and won the League for the first time in their history after finishing unbeaten with 24 wins and 6 ties.
Atlético de Madrid Ladies made history after winning their first League title in a Championship they have dominated from start to finish. Ángel Villacampa’s players have not lost one game, winning 24 and only conceding 6 ties. The captain Amanda Sampedro was the one who led Atlético to victory. Amanda set up the first goal scored by Esther and she scored the second one. Real Sociedad shortened distances but the red and white control was complete and Atlético’s women’s team won both the fixture and the League championship.
