Koke: "The fans support gives us peace of mind and confidence"
The Atletico midfielder appeared before the media following the win against Athletic and highlighting the fitness of the squad and the need to keep working.
Koke spoke in the mixed zone about the difficulty of the achievements to date for Atletico Madrid, "but we have to continue working as usual," he recalled .
He also said the fans were "spectacular". "The mosaic the supporters did when we came out gave us more confidence to do the right thing and go out and win."
Regaring hislink up with Diego Costa, he said "he is scoring lots of goals and I’m happy that he’s scoring so many. In the goal today I saw him loose his man, I tried to give him the best chance and he did it perfectly."
Finally, Koke has stressed that "we have a clear philosophy that is the day to day and we have to continue because otherwise it would be wrong".
