Koke: 'I will fight to earn a place in the team'

The youth hopes to settle at Atlético and will give with everything

Jorge Resurrección, better known as Koke, appeared before the media at the preseason training camp held in Los Angeles de San Rafael. The ‘rojiblanco’ centre midfielder admitted to working hard to catch the eye of the new coaching staff despite the high competition that exists in his position: 'I hope to start doing things right to settle in the team. I come to fight for a place and try to earn a spot on the team, but for that I must fight.'    The young talent will have to leave the Atlético training camp in a few days team to participate in the under 20s World Cup in Colombia along with his teammate Pulido. Koke is aware of the bad play that causes the calendar: 'To leave right now is a little difficult, but I’ll only play one under 20s World Cup it's important to be there.'    On the current ‘rojiblanco’ team, Koke is clear that Kun Agüero is an Atlético player and he hopes to have him in red and white changing room soon: 'Kun is a great player, he has a contract with the club and would be very important if he stayed and continued with us. He made the decision that he wanted to go, but we all want him to stay.'    The youth made it clear that Diego Costa is fully integrated into the group without any problem: 'He’s a teammate, he’s been delayed a bit but we’re not going to give it any more importance. I don’t know exactly what happened to him, but he’s said sorry.'
