Koke equals Luis Aragonés' 370 matches with Atlético de Madrid

After playing in our UEFA Europa League semi-final clash against Arsenal at the Wanda Metropolitano, Koke made history for our club.

Koke keeps on breaking Atlético de Madrid records. This season, he became the 10th player with most appearances for our club, defended our kit for the 250th time in LaLiga and now equalled Luis Aragonés' 370 matches for our club.

An academy youth product, Koke joined our club in 2000 and at just 26 years old (three months and 25 days), he’s become the youngest player to equal Aragonés' mark of 370 matches.

Koke made his debut for our club on 19 September 2009 and has since then defended our colours in 252 league matches, 49 UEFA Champions League matches, 36 in the Copa del Rey, 28 in the Europa League, four in the Spanish Super Cup and once in the UEFA Super Cup. 370

In total, he’s scored 33 times and has given 88 assists. Koke has won one Europa League, one UEFA Super Cup, one Copa del Rey, one LaLiga title and one Spanish Super Cup.
