Ivan Saponjic: "I'm going to give everything I have in this club”

Ivan Šaponjić’s official presentation at the auditorium in the Wanda Metropolitano has become a reality. The Serbian was accompanied by club president Enrique Cerezo, Club Director Clemente Villaverde, sporting director Andrea Berta and legends Marcelina Pérez and Milinko Pantić, as well as members of the player's family.
Our new player was welcomed to Atlético by club president Enrique Cerezo.
"His eye for goal, talent, courage and youth make him a striker with great potential," Cerezo said. "You join a team with extraordinary players who play in your same position. We are completely sure that this rivalry will help you improve and motivate yourself until you become a top striker."
Ivan Šaponjić thanked the president and spoke about how proud he is to have joined our club.
"I'm going to give everything I have in this club," he said. "They have welcomed me phenomenally. As for my first impressions, everything is going great. My first feelings have been fantastic. It's very good to work with Simeone, one of the best coaches in the world.”
The striker has already joined the rest of the squad in Los Ángeles de San Rafael.
After the press conference was over, Enrique Cerezo presented Ivan Šaponjić with his new shirt with number 17 on the back. The striker then posed with his new shirt alongside Enrique Cerezo and Andrea Berta.
