Héctor Herrera scores in official Atleti debut
Our midfielder played his first official game in Red & White against Juventus.
Héctor Herrera made his official Atleti debut and scored a last-minute equaliser on Wednesday against Juventus. The Mexican came on for Thomas in the 75th minute and headed home a Trippier cross to make things 2-2.
The Mexican said he was happy with the performance.
“I’m very happy with the result and to help the team. A draw against such a strong side as Juventus isn’t bad. I think we were the better team in several phases of the match. I’m very happy,” Herrera said.
