Griezmann, nominated for Best Player in Europe
The French international, Best Player and Golden Boot of the Euro 2016, has made the list of the 10 most voted players to win UEFA's Best Player in Europe award of 2015/2016.
Antoine Griezmann has been nominated for UEFA's Best Player in Europe of 2015/2016. UEFA has published the votes cast by the journalists of each of the federations. Our player has completed a great season in which he has scored 40 goals (32 goals with Atlético and 8 with his national team). Diego Godín and Jan Oblak are also on the list of the top voted players.
The French international finished the campaign with the individual title of Best Player and Golden Boot of the Euro 2016, in which he scored 6 goals, critical to take France to the final. With our club, Griezmann scored 7 goals in the Champions League edition in which we were European runners-up.
On 5th August, UEFA will publish the three finalists for the European Best Player award. The winner will be announced on 25th August, in Monaco, during the draw for the group stage of the 2016/2017 Champions League.
