Our suffering had its prize. Atlético de Madrid is in the final of the Champions League after beating Bayern in the aggregate score thanks to a goal from Griezmann. Atlético won its ticket at the Allianz Arena. 42 years later, the team managed to chase away the ghosts of Brussels and knocked out Bayern at home.

Bayern Munich pushed pretty hard in the first half, although the first two chances to score were ours. It was Gabi, from an indirect foul first and then in a shot from outside the box that made problems for Neuer. However, the German team began to create danger and Oblak began his recital. First against Vidal, then Lewandowski, and then Ribery. And it was in a direct free-kick when Bayern tied the round. Soon after, Oblak saved a penalty from Müller to finish the first half with an advantage for the Bavarians.

Simeone decided to substitute Augusto for Carrasco and it was a change that the team noted and that Bayern also noted. With a bigger offensive presence, Atlético caught up with Bayern shortly after starting the second half, with a controlled pass from Torres to Griezmann which the French converted into a goal. The 1-1 knocked out Bayern, and although they still had the possession of the ball, they had many problems to create danger. However, Lewandowski scored the 2-1 with fifteen minutes until the end. Torres could have scored the second but Neuer stopped his penalty. In the end, suffering, Atlético is in Milan.
