Gameiro: “When you work hard, the goals are bound to come"
After our win against Roma, Kevin Gameiro and Ángel Correa spoke to the press.
Ángel Correa and Kevin Gameiro, two important players from our victory against Roma, spoke to the press and analyzed our win.
“I’m happy to have reached 100 matches with Atlético and I hope to play many more,” Correa said. “I’m also happy because we won.”
Once Correa and Gameiro stepped on the pitch, Atlético’s offensive play improved and the Frenchman scored the second of the night.
“It was an important day for the team and club,” Gameiro said. “When you work hard, the goals are bound to come. We have a good group and together we’ll win lots of games.”
In regards to Antoine Griezmann’s goal, both Correa and Gameiro agreed it was a, “golazo.”
