Gameiro leads Atlético to victory in Vigo

Atlético de Madrid defeated Celta de Vigo in Balaídos thanks to Kevin Gameiro’s strike, in the 28th minute. It was the Frenchman’s first goal of the season.
In the first half, our team started off strongly and our French duo, Gameiro and Griezmann, had good chances to score. In the corner following a Griezmann shot, Gameiro scored the only goal of the afternoon.
In the second half, Diego Pablo Simeone made some changes and Gaitán, Giménez and Filipe Luis came on the pitch. When called upon, Oblak responded with brilliant saves. Griezmann had an opportunity to score the team’s second goal, but his header went just wide.
