Gameiro gives Atleti the win against Dépor
Kevin Gameiro's first-half goal gave our side the win against Deportivo de La Coruña.
Our side beat Deportivo de La Coruña 1-0 in the first match following the international break. Kevin Gameiro scored the only goal of the night in the Wanda Metropolitano.
In the first half, our side dominated possession and the goal came in the 34th minute. Saúl was fouled in the penalty box and the referee blew his whistle. Gameiro converted the penalty with ease and the crowd in the Wanda Metropolitano went wild.
Diego Costa, Fernando Torres and Toni Moya came on in the second half. Both Torres and Costa added a spark to our offense and created chances for our side.
