Gabi ties Raúl García for most UEFA appearances with Atlético

After playing 80 minutes in Atlético’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea, Gabi tied Raúl García’s 71 UEFA appearances with Atlético de Madrid.

Gabi’s first UEFA match with Atlético was on 17 July 2004 against Tescoma Zlin. Since then, he’s defended the Atlético jersey in European competitions 70 times.
