Forlán and Godín return to the ‘rojiblanco’ schedule in Majadahonda
The squad holds a regenerative training session
Diego Forlán and Diego Godín returned the Atlético camp after their commitments with the Uruguayan National Team. The two players rejoined the group and completed the practice on Thursday the 31st.
It was a regenerative session in which the squad was divided into two groups. On one side, several team members, Joel, Raúl García, Filipe, Koke, Alberto Perea, Juanfran and Assunçao headed off into the pine forest that surrounds the Majadahonda facilities to run with the team physical trainer, Jordi García. Valera and Luis Amaranto Perea remained on the pitch and did some running on the grass field.
The rest of the players stayed in the gym and worked out there for the entire duration of the training session.
